Keeping up the "Yes Minister" tradition of video clips, this one almost sounds spot on given recent events! :)

I absolutely agree Andrew. We need as many voices as we can get to speak up at next AGM or whatever!

So I have renewed; as have some close to me. I even ticked the Code of Conduct button - even though ii is unconstitutional (but that is perhaps a fight for another day).

I've have applied for membership too, assuming it will be approved at the next board meeting. I got the followup phone call, asking what my involvement was in .au domains, how knew about auda and why I wanted to join. I hope I gave the right answers, as I wasn't really prepared for them.

Personally, it’s good that auDA contact new members and survey their reason for joining. I renewed, I see others beyond these walls becoming aware of the proposed .au and I think It’s important to have this conversation with as many people as you can.

It would be good for auDA to call the many Supply related companies, staff and their friends who have signed up as "demand" class members to check their intentions why they joined as demand members.... That auDA phone call audit would yield some interesting results and probably many cancellations or withdrawals of "supply" demand class memberships.

For $22 some supply entities have been stacking the demand class memberships for years. They have used these demand votes to further cement their power on the auDA board and for policies they want which in many cases gives them a financial benefit.

As most people now know it is also apparent "supply" chose to back one particular demand class auDA board candidate with their demand class related member votes. That candidate made little if any effort to put out candidate statements or their positions on issues.. why? because they seemingly knew they would get all of the Supply " demand" member votes anyway.

Let's see the next list of Supply and Demand memberships eligible to vote for the next election and see who votes in the demand class auDA Board members this year.

The canada membership model is far better than that of auDA yet auDA refuses to innovate and improve the auDA membership program, benefits or costs.

Today I have written an "open letter" to Cameron Boardman and the auDA Board. This is published on Domainer.

It's clearly time for some sensible "conflict resolution" between members and management / Board. "Resolution rather than revolution" would seem to be the sensible path.

But it could be a tough gig with "political beasts" at the helm.

From what I can see of it the problem is the board mainly, rather than Cameron. Let's see what happens, worth a try. Maybe Cameron will come to the table (will be very telling to see if he responds). However I would be very surprised if the board listened.

Just as a matter of interest, today's article on Domainer "auDA - It's Time For Conflict Resolution" was our 500th published post. Just did article "501" announcing that little milestone! Big thanks to Luke Summers and my son Luke for their invaluable help along the journey. :)

    Now this is embarrassing ...

The auDA CEO justifies taking down Minutes / Agendas/ Reports / Board history by saying that "a similar standard of disclosure is not expected of the ABC and/or CSIRO".

He seems to forget the crucial fact that we're a membership organisation, and the other two are not.

Article and CEO's email response to me on Domainer today.

He is clutching at straws with that argument. Key thing in my view is AUDA had widely publicised transparency issues, which they claimed to be working on & then decided to remove a whole lot of information. I don't think the CSIRO or the ABC are in that boat.

The way that the CEO has reacted to the members and how the relationship between the board and members has now reached it's lowest point brings in to question why he was appointed to the position by the board and if he is in fact a suitable candidate.

So far the CEO has equated AUDA with the ASX, ACNC, AICD, ABC & CSIRO.
Personally I see no correlation between auDA and these organisations.
