Drops today - November 2012

It looks like CPR.com.au got PDed.

I remember it was sold for more than $1200 on snapper a few months ago.

Does anyone remember if this domain name was on PD when it was listed on snapper?

Hope nobody makes the mistake again this time.
 
Picked up shellacnails.com.au and won customcomputer.com.au on NetFleet but Greg snapped it through drop! Nice!
 
I must be missing something.. What's the commercial value/prospects for federation.com.au? Good search but no competition?

Likely a popular company name. eg Federation Press. Appeal would be resale, not development or metrics related.
 
Looks like the LL.com.au's and others that David mentioned above got renewed.

It's interesting because the company it was registered with is now Deregistered and I think that's why these domains got PDed but then who renewed these domains?

Could it be some one from that company who had seen the value of these domains and renewed them?

Hmmm interesting. Remember they weren't expired they were PD'd - a deregistered company can't hold domains even if they want to.

Massive Networks Pty Ltd has been deregistered for ages according to this:

Hmmm.. interesting... The status just changed in last 10-15mins.

When I checked it 15mins ago it was in normal registered status but now it's changed again and yeah I've never seen that status before as well. Something weird is going on..
 
What's so good about Aesharenet.com.au that it's the most expensive at the moment?
Is it just the DA?
Are people hoping it will have a good PR?
 
Yep very tasty backlinks. Used to be a PR6. With a bit of luck someone can recreate a minisite and get that PR and link juice back to fuel other sites.

Or, seeing as it has a heap of backlinks, it's likely it still has decent traffic. So parking it could well deliver a good return.
 
oh how can you tell what the page rank used to be? Is there a tool somewhere?
