i'm off to india in JAN, i'll be taking the auda helicopter of course.
but i thought i should buy a backpack for ease, so i go to anaconda and ask the guy " can you sell me a backpack" ? so he doesn't reply and starts walking towards the backpacks WAY faster then i am walking, he then doesn't ask me ANY questions about my needs or where i am going or how long for.............. and also WHY is a 50yr old buying a backpack would be my first question !!!
so he says, we have this one and this one ( actually there were over 40 different types available ) so i asked why, he then proceeded to tell me everything i planned to do based on just looking at me ! it was internally hilarious as he got it so WRONG.
he said, well this has a removable day pack as you will use this mostly and leave the backpack in your hotel room, WRONG, i intend to do alot of walking with my whole kit.
so the backpack is just for geting to anf from your hotel and transport, WRONG, i'm going backpacking ! idiot.
this is smaller because you don't want to have to carry to much weight AT YOUR AGE, WRONG, i am incredibly strong although i don't look it IDIOT.
this bright green colour will be good so you knowi its yours at the airports, WRONG, i am not walking down an indian alley with a lollypop mans vest attached to my back.
and it goes onnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
in the end i said " thanks, you have truly helped me make my decision, goodbye" and i have now gone into my garage, pulled out my 1990 ............YES 1990 backpack and THATS what i am taking to india, total saving $250 !

you may have noticed that since i got a new laptop a few months ago my screens shots have disappeared !!! it was due to in incompatibility with my new win10 but it has now been FIXED.

i got my passport the other day, it has a kangaroo holigram on my face ! my son asked why so i told him i had to now go get a tatoo so i matched the picture, he asked if would have to and i said no, for kids that tatoo your bum.
my daughter straight away switched in and said YEH and if you are american its an eagle ! we had him going for 20 minutes going through the countries.

spain= bull

needless to say LIKE MANY......... he doesn't get my sense of humour.

thank you everyone who has posted this year, there has been some great laughs
started back in 2013, 2017 saw an increase in posts by over 100% on 2016 and thats without defensive joke registrations, which isn't really difficult to believe as i think in 2017 we have all been looking for some form of humour to take us away from the seemingly potential reality which may or may not occur depending on presently unknown constants completely out of our control subject to know and unknown forces within an unpredictable environment !
but humour never stops, its as important to me on a daily basis as punchuation, gramma and sppell checker !
all the best and i hope to see you in the 2018 thread come 1/1/18
