The new Tee Junction

Updated my very first baby, TeeJunction.com.au - Custom T-shirts

The original site was done entirely by myself in 2007 on Joomla 1.5 with my poor coding and design skills.

We moved to a new platform early this year. This justified a total revamp of the site including new custom theme, mobile enabled t-shirt designer, social integration and an animated advertisement video.

My goal these days is no longer SEO but conversion optimization. The new site is already well on its way to doubling the conversion rate compared to the previous site. Hasn't quite hit that mark yet but lots more to be added and polished.

Let me know what you think or if you have any questions.

Looks great Zhen, congrats!

Did you outsource the build, or was it done in house? Conversion optimisation is a lot more enjoyable than SEO :)

Conversion optimisation is a lot more enjoyable than SEO :)

Ahem! It's so much more satisfying knowing you have full control of the outcomes and results.

Yes, I hardly do anything myself these days. I use my regular designer/front end developers. Platform had most of the core technologies we needed so quite an easy revamp.

Next step is to find a good copywriter. Something that is new to me.

Great stuff Zhen :)

I've bookmarked it for when I next need custom tees!

Cheers,
Chris

I concur with my esteemed colleagues, and as a Father of teenage boys - I reckon they will love it. Maybe I should text them to find out - its the only way I can get any 2-way conversation with them (neither one has learnt how to translate a grunt into text)

What have you used to create the site? Themes, shopping cart etc ?

No themes. Complete custom design this time around. I start with doing the wireframes myself but after that its all up to the designer and front-end developers create.

I'm using a platform called Deconetwork for this site which caters specifically for screen printers, digital t-shirt printers, etc.

do you think the pics in the gallery should be the same size?

aggree with the others ......good work

Totally agree on that. Right now its just a bad place holder gallery as we investigate the best gallery solution for it. Surprisingly our 4th most visited page so I better get cracking on getting something proper done!

consistant background colour/shade always looks good i think.

you will find that the camera will alter it based on the density of the teeshort eg: a white T will produce a darker background then a black T as cameras will ALWAYS want to go to a "grey balance"
