Interesting to see jewelry.com.au go for $1701 on the AMA today.

This is obviously a misspelling but still has great search volume.

I wonder how much jewellery.com.au would go for?

i wouldn't call that one a misspelling as its the USA version so when you think about it so many people are shopping overseas its not such a bad choice, fits into the "z" v's "s" domains.

given the profit margins on jewellery i think $1700 is a nice price.

type it into google and it doesn't give you a correction of spelling.

jewellery.com.au would be FARRRRR more valuable, shame its being under used.

i doubt jewellery.com.au will ever come on the market, given its owner..... but hey ! hardware did

Is it possible to see what was in yesterdays auction? Not just what was sold (which netfleet shows), but everything that was in there?

Thanks

Looks like someone's bright idea with hotels has gone amiss today.

looks to me they are just dropping the rubbish, as i know a fair few of those locations i can see why the "plural" just wouldn't work. eg: the .net.au for byron

they probably own the capital cities versions and those could make some money if done well.

What is the chance of someone registering a lot of bad domains and also good domains as well? It about as likely as this guy being lousy at singing this (below) but being great at opera,

Australia's Got Talent - Elvi Pes (I am a computer) - YouTube

They've likely registered "whatever" and by registering dozens of domains in a day you can see the degree of thought going into this strategy...not much.

Well Snoopy you know jack s##t as I registered them all and they were bringing in good income until HotelsCombined changed their data feed criteria.

Nearly all were on page 1 for years and then Google changed it's algo settings, I got my money back and more in the years I've owned them.

So before you make asumptions and mouth off, I'd check to see if a member of this forum owned them first.

Do you consider getting your money back a good result?

I am sure "geodomains" didn't miss out too badly

Some of these ...hotel.com.au are still generating parking revenue

Snoopy what part of the word more don't you understand.

The word "more" doesn't really mean anything here. If it did you'd just say what you made.

When someone claims they made their money back & more, to try and prove something it usually means they didn't really make money, otherwise they'd be focusing talking about profits rather than recovering costs.

Snoopy, what a load of codswallop. Seriously. Why would someone say what they made unless they are engaging in a pissing contest?

Don is a quiet achiever - doesn't post too much about his successes which have been many (and far outweigh those that haven't worked as well).

I wish I had half his accumen; talent; tenancity and contacts - not to mention half his portfolio. ;)

Plus you know what Snoopy? He always has a positive word for fellow domainers - and gives freely of his experiences behind the scenes. A nice guy without an agenda.

Snoopy have you ever seen what domains I own, how do you think I paid for them?

It was from making up to $40k a month online profit, and I bet you never made that much a month.

I'm not making that much now, but at least I don't spend my days saying 0 value to everying person who makes a post on this forum.

You are a serial negative pest and need to be told.

Good bye
Don

snoopy , AAAAHH, i was sooo trying not to post ! but i'm really sick of your attitude when threads like this come up, F me , "are you perfect" ? "are you GOD" ? and we just don't know it?

i have mixed emotions, i know you have a lot to offer but generally it feels (to me) that more negatives then positives come from you .

on this one you are so wrong and geo has told you, so WHY go on, it does nothing for your cred.

"who are you being" ?
