Thought I'd share a little success story with parking a .com.au. I have most of my .au portfolio parked with RookMedia.net.au for almost a year and they've always provided good results.

Caught up with Simon from RookMedia last week at the Melbourne DNTrader meetup and got talking about some of my parked names among other things. Hadn't realised that there were different landing page options available for some.

The other day we switched over to a different type of landing page. The results have been nothing short of spectacular.



Thanks to Simon and RookMedia. Definitely owe you a shout of beer and a snowboarding trip! Just might bring over some premium .com's which get even more HQ traffic over to test it out.

Was a bit confused as:

No Data Found

Do you have any examples of domains parked with Rook?

And do they allow your to have a "for sale" sign on the domain?

Wow - that's a huge improvement.

Also just goes to show how worthwhile attending the meetups is. Not only is there the general hard-to-quantify benefits from networking but you can also get hard info like this that can make an immediate impact to your bottom line.

This is something that should be standard rather than having to set it up in any kind of manual way.

Best way to optimise revenue is join a large number of parking programs and run it through a rotation service like above.com.

Thank you for sharing these details.

If you don't mind, I'm curious what you mean by "type of landing page"?
From your screen shot, it appears the only change is in the domain's EPC. CTR is almost the same.
To gain such an increase in EPC I'm thinking your great result is probably explained by the ads being switched from a second tier feed (paying only a few cents per click) to a top tier ad feed. (Or changing the ads category from a low to high paying industry)
Do you know exactly what caused EPC to increase so much?

Hey attractive. Simon could probably provide more details. But we started testing more forced keywords (higher paying, more targeted to the niche) plus we've also played around with 1 step and 2 step landing pages.
