Is there any websites that deal exclusively with Australian website sales

I have been thinking of starting one however I am unaware if they may be one already existing, I don't mean places like netfleet etc that deal in mainly domain names I mean a place like flippa that deals exclusively in developed websites so potential buyers can see the sites etc.

None that I know of either, but I've bought and sold a few AU sites on Flippa without any problems, and I'm not sure that we need another site dedicated to AU properties since the market is probably quite small for decent developed AU sites.

i hope to be starting up 'sitez' in the future

Good to know spacey it would be nice to have an exclusive .au market place.

quite a few offline companies/investors would buy establishes websites .AU websites

I am not sure many know this some banks will lend on .au websites however They will not lend on websites outside .au generally,
and are seen as a business just like any other offline brick and mortar business

I have been looking for an exclusive australian marketplace websites

for years that generate good revenue for years nothing stuck out on flippa in the .au space

Thanks webdeal I am going to give this one a go:D

Given that they have just three rubbish websites for sale, I hardly think it's worth bothering.

There are AU sites on Flippa if you look. Last year I sold on one there for $9k.

xwdomains wants to do his due diligence and investigate the local market, however no doubts you are 100% right currently Flippa is the best place to go...

If the site allowed free listings and was willing to link back to the site with a followed link I'd list the sites I had for sale.

That way even if the site was unlikely to generate a sale the effort could be justified just for the link back.

The problem is most sites want a fee to sell, but they don't have substantial traffic, so they need to be willing to opt for the netfleet model and offer the service for free and then make money other ways.

The thng is, Flippa is an Australian based company and if they actually saw a sucessfull site in Australia doing its core business they could easily surpass them with just a little bit of effort.

There was another site before flippa and competed with Sitepoint can't remember what it what it was called in early 2000 They ignored flippa they are now gone...

The site was much larger then flippa originally was and had more buyers then site point.

They mainly sold to a private investor list via email can't remember what they were called but they sold many high profile websites.

myspace ignored facebook the result facebook took over

There is at least 35 website marketing places that have active buyers each of them sell sites everyday/week/month.

Majority of sales are .com however there are a few with .au sales Flippa of course is the most active however 20 sites is not even a drop in the market.

http://websiteacquire.com/listings?search=.au&fromListedDate=&toListedDate=&minPrice=&maxPrice=

I have sold sites here btw and it cost me $2 at the time.

Business Brokers are selling .au revenue generating websites offline just take a quick look at realcommercial for websites there is also another private platform
I have sold 3 sites on a relatively unknown place to sell websites although it does cost $100 to list each site was a simple .com flip would probably fetch $300-$500 on flippa. Results sold for 2.5k these buyers have funds and are actively looking for simple businesses to run right now.

There is quite a few turnkey amazon affilate sites you know the ones with adsense amazon and clickbank for $700 and they are selling these are Australian buyers and most have never even heard of flippa...

I would rather my site on a .com.au with an Australian Targeted audience if I was selling a .com.au site for starters majority of flippa users are Not Australian have no idea about an ABN or the rules.
I would also list on flippa however the site Australian website sales is free

are you really not even going to bother to test the market there might be only a few crap sites there now did you know that is probably the best type of place to list anything for sale somewhere new with less competition and most likely getting a bit of targeted traffic, I have been buying domains for a decade I stumbled across netfleet this year I think netfleet is great for what it was made for and you may not realize this but flippa was the only place .au was really selling before netfleet from what I researched who is smashing the .au market now haven't seen any 125k .au domains on flippa....

Rant over

anyway go list on the sites make em look better lol

poor owners listings are free
