I'm thinking of taking a punt and putting Trailers.net.au up for sale next week on the Netfleet AMA - on a no reserve basis.

Exacts are 9900.

Yes, I know it's a .net.au - CarSales owns the .com.au which resolves to carsales.com.au. (When I searched for this site on Google, I got: "Your search - site:trailers.com.au - did not match any documents").

So let's test your market acumen. What do you think it will it sell for? Let's see who gets closest.

Very nice domain!

...but really hard to guess what auction result will be - definitely 4 figures though.

Thanks guys - I hope you're right! :)

Let's have a bit of fun with this as well.

I'm offering up a prize of $25 (PayPal) for whoever gets closest. (That will buy a nice bottle of wine).

So far, I have smee @ $1150.

What's your figure?

I recently sold boxtrailers.net.au for $100, but yours is a much more solid domain.

My guess would be $700.

One of the better .net.au domains I've seen on here for a while.

It has a fighting chance given the very commercial term, but I think the extension will hamper the end price. I'm guessing $650. There's every chance that my dislike of .net.au has me pitching way below the end result and I hope for your sake that it does better ;)

It's a wholesale auction, so my estimate would be $450.

Can't help stirring the pot can you Andrew? ;)

I have no idea....but I will put it at around $575.

Only because generally a trailer is a trailer that people can pick up locally from a smaller manufacturer, or even home built. This however would be diferent if we talking about Semi-Trailers where drivers are prepared to travel. Camper trailer, diferent again.

I'm thinking

$1302 - $1320 because its Neds and every trailer park in Australia will have an email by COB. :D
