Have often do we here this in the appraisal forum? "I bought this domain to create [insert some type of website]".
Yet when you look back at old appraisals thread hardly any of those names bought for development ever get developed. They sit there forever whilst the registrant registers dozens of other domains for the same reason. It is just an easy way of justifying a bad domain.
My own view is that if someone registers a domain then ask for an appraisal they will 99% chance never do anything with it. If they seriously bought it to develop then Instead of asking for an appraisal they would have actually started developing.
Lets cut through the BS on this issue, when someone claims a domain was bought for development it is likely complete nonsense!
