new TLD'S "Failing" and drastic price discount

.xyz is likely to have lost 66% of its registration base within the next few months. The new promotion doesn't look to be doing much to stem the tide, over 250,000 domains lost in the last 36 hours since it started.

Great stories for everyone to read. buyer beware of the new extensions. They either jack up the renewal fee's, close down the extension later or do this claw back if they think you maybe registered something they could sell themselves higher. Disgusting.

DUMP your .XYZ's and other .crap.
Don't be ripped off or scammed by the fake hype or low cost initial promo prices.

Dnjournal reports all time low in sales this week,

As I noted above it was rough sailing for the Non .com gTLDs this week with an all-time low of just two sales reported in this category. The highest was Logan Flatt's $7,488 sale of TYI.orgthrough the Uniregistry Market. Uniregistry accounted for the other sale as well with Joy Antony using the platform to sell a new gTLD, Electric.city, for $2,000.

is it just me or was the concept of .xyz just crap from the start? REALLY ? seriously ?
I don't think its even worth mentioning ! its right up there with a 3 cent coin and a 7 dollar note !

The girl at Coles told me my purchase was $7.96 the other day, I had to explain I didn't have a one cent coin and she would have to round it down

Crazy things can happen... How about the NTLD .SUCKS for example.. seriously let's see the renewal rate of that in a few years..
