Don't the reg fees start at $99? They are all premium.

People would have trouble making money out of one word .com's if the reg fees were $99 let alone crap like .melbourne. The problem is enormous holding costs on lousy names.

$69.95 at VentraIP. Still too expensive IMO. However if they have sales on like they do for a lot of other new gTLDs I'd consider getting some.... if they are still some decent ones left....

You'd get hit with the high fees as soon as renewals comes around though wouldn't you? Even still how much is it going to be discounted to? I'd be studying what sells in the market and the prices they get before plonking down anything on these.
