I was just reading Frank Schilling's latest Seven Mile blog post, and a few things jumped out at me.
Bear in mind his references to selling domains are mostly in relation to SEDO and other bulk listing services.
I know I've sold a few names that I've had "seller's remorse" on.

- Once you have a buyer on the line, you can sell any commodity at a low-dollar clearing price or you can hold out for the boutique value of your name.
- Anybody can create a machine for burning your furniture.
- If you’re in the diamond business and you are sitting on a pile of shiny rocks, you can either flood the market all at once at any price or you can fold your arms and let the buyers come to your price.
- I don’t think wholesaling quality names is a road to prosperity. If you’re going to do $500 deals you’re better off applying for a new TLD and selling names at registration price.
- Give away your best inventory and many of you will live to exhaust your money (and names).
