I wouldn't offer to sell it to them. Have a read of this recent thread because it is related and in particular Robert's post - https://www.dntrade.com.au/threads/common-law-property-rights.10855/#post-80852
Thanks again for the heads up. Will see how this pans out and will let everyone know the name/outcome if it ends positive. There are some good articles on Domainer about dealing with these types of issues, for example this.
Just read the article you linked to - very good. Some very good comments too. There are some good articles on Domainer about dealing with these types of issues, for example this.
Went from nice to nasty quickly. Waiting on their response back.Heard anything more about this yet?
As you say, I wonder whether the angst is worth it sometimes. I can stubborn especially now that I know I'm in the right. I still haven't had a response to my last message which makes me think they are getting advice.I think some of these big companies think that no one would dare touch a domain 'because we are big'....
No trademark...too bad. Even if there is a trademark, it only 'really' means you can't use it for what they've trademarked. Advice I've received is such that even if they add a good or service section after 'you' have bought / registered the domain...it's too late - my experience was 888casino re trademarking. Pretty simple isn't it...if they want it, they can buy it off you? Stressful though hey...
