i was reading NOT SKIMMING the governments discussion paper again today and i thought i'd give some advice in a neutral form.
https://www.communications.gov.au/file/32286/download?token=m3VngNMO
firstly its 14 pages long so dedicate some time but do that soon as you have 14 days to go.
its a very important review, one that will have multiply submissions we hope and all sides of the story need to be told as we most likely will not have another for at least 3 years? at a guess.
i like "the big picture first" style of learning, so if you are the same skip straight to the last page and read the questions the gov are asking.
i personally don't feel you need to answer all questions, if you only have suggestions or concerns for some questions then at least submit them, DO NOT be turned off by the amount of time it would take to complete a well thought out full submission, just do what you can, the more submissions the better the government will understand the broader view of people who have a stake hold in the industry.
tell a friend, its your duty to inform a stakeholder who may not know about the review.
and finally, if you do not make a submission, don't whinge about what happens next.
--------------
if you have already made a submission then consider posting it here so other can see aspects you feel need pointing out and that others haven't thought of, OR pm it to me as i'd love to read them all and i will not make comment on them.
-----------
i've tried to stay away from words like good, bad etccc as i am trying to go the positive on this and i feel every ones viewpoint is a positive no matter what it is.
