If you've got Bitcoin and are looking to increase your holdings without injecting any more cash, then keep holding.
More cryptocurrency dividends for holders of Bitcoin are on the way, in the form of Bitcoin Diamond and Super Bitcoin.
Once received, these altcoins that will be created through hard forks of the Bitcoin blockchain can be sold, allowing you to purchase more BTC.

Scott check out https://link.smartcontract.com/ ;)

The LINK Network is the first decentralized oracle network; allowing anyone to securely provide smart contracts with access to key external data, off-chain payments and any other API capabilities. Anyone who has a data feed, useful off-chain service such as local payments, or any other API, can now provide them directly to smart contracts in exchange for LINK tokens.

Damn good looking ICO

"Sorry this is not AUda related
Shock, horror, a non-auDA related post! o_O Is that even allowed?

" The lack of asset is a valid comment ...... https://www.thedomains.com/2017/11/22/next-tech-bubble/"
In terms of ICOs there is a lot of dodgy stuff going on, including many outright scams.

Bitcoin, on the other hand, is a different beast. While there may be a major price correction, even it's as high as 80%, I don't think Bitcoin is going away any time soon. While much of the current investment is speculation, it is being used in other parts of the world with major currency and banking issues for cross boarder payments that otherwise require dangerous and illegal maneuvering.

The surface is only being scratched in terms of the uses and complementary technologies, for a limited supply, decentralised, non-confiscatable, non-freezable, store of value, peer-to-peer currency.

history of stock markets tells the future, there will be a correction, its just picking when to say the obvious.
an interesting view:
, start at 15min 15 sec , if you want a short view then you only need 3 minutes of your time. it is much longer but.

Thanks Callum.

Any thoughts on CoinJar? They seem to be popping up a lot in my research, and on the surface seem okay. I also try to deal with Australian companies whenever possible, which ticks another box for them.

And a warning to others on this thread - the price will most likely dive once I get in...:p

I have not used them personally sorry. In my experience, the majority of the Aussie providers have huge fees on transactions so i tend to avoid.

Are you that guy that is selling his house and accepting bitcoin as part payment? (on the news last night)
No, but he sure has stepped on to one dangerous roller coaster going in that big at this price. Today on the Australian Crypto Exchange platform, the highest price paid for one Bitcoin is $14,663.53 and the lowest is $12,950. With swings like that in a single day anything can happen.

If he can hold long term I think he does well, but he may need to be able to withstand a substantial drop where the market doesn't rebound for an extended period of time. At the end of 2013 when the market crashed, it didn't make a full recovery until late 2016 / early 2017. If it's more than he can afford to lose then it's a big gamble.
