Hey Guys, I just setup a Synergy Wholesale account, and i'm very confused the FAQ isn't really clear.

How do I transfer a domain that is expiring in another domain provider I have. I have requested the epp code.

Under the section Domains, then new transfer, It asks for domain name then password. The password section is that the EPP code, or something else?
Thanks.

i posted this recently somewhere else sorry
EPP = KEY

you shouldn't have to request it.
http://admin.auda.org.au/password_recovery/blank_recover_password.faces , if its your email address.
then note that you need enough time before domain renewal to complete transfer or it can fail. so don't leave it last minute.
Oh I saw that but didn't understand entirely. That's only for .au's right?

It just seems a bit confusing that different providers just don't use the same lingo, even putting password/EPP I thought maybe it was something else.

Any rate this is for a .hosting extension at this stage, as I plan to move my domains as they come up for renewal, as the cost savings are enough to pay for other business expenses. But I've just learned Uniregistry have just implemented the price hike that was rumored earlier in the month, and I simply won't be renewing or developing my domain further if the price is that high.

You still use EPP (also called auth code) to transfer non .au domains, although you don't need one for some ccTLDs.

Uniregistry currently have a 29.88 USD special on registration and renewal of .hosting domains, however, the regular price is 498.88 USD.
