Has anyone been to Bing.com.au lately, I was shocked at how may ads are on each search term. If you type in any niche with high cost cpc you will notice only 6 or 7 natural listings and 11 paid listings.
Low cost cpc terms have 10 natural listings and less ads
I hope this is not a sign of the future with other search engines, otherwise we may as well take our bat and ball and go home.

true but only really 1 more above the fold then google, have we forgotten googles sidebar that is nolonger?
they dumped ? because it wasn't profitable ! Fk they didn't have to do anything, but i suppose cleaning up the user experience but there is still that big white vertical field sitting there...........ready.............

its a bad world the internet where peoples expectations is everything for free, people getting wix websites that do nothing for their business, businesses running off facebook only and then get dumped for breaching a rule, i think people don't trust search results as much these days, i watch people and they seem to always scroll the page, yes.......hardly ever go to page 2.
bings ads are very subtle, a tiny "ad" next to them.

a fair search result, a good domain name, a well written descripton and then a good website to make them stick brings you more sales then a number one ranking, ranking high with a sh*t website does you no good.

Last weeke a customer complained about not ranking in Bing (places) and today I visited a client who was also using Bing. Both clients in their 50s and both had no idea why they were using Bing. New windows obv. default to Bing so worth considering anyway. I never found their ad space to be very beneficial. Slightly off but the only PPC platform that was worth the spend was Yahoo but they're (platform) long gone.

The thing is for 70-80% of terms their are 1 or 2 ads.

Most clients we work with focus on this 70-80% for growth, and their is still many years of this traffic to come.
