Hand regged vansonline.com.au the other day.
Fairly new to domaining.
This is one of the first reg's where I actually evaluated the traffic/competition.

Also, thoughts on development regarding footwear or rentals?
My guess: footwear.

Was living in Pacific Paradise, but currently in Canada for a bit of an extended holiday.

I'd planned on developing the domain, but ended up selling it because I got a decent offer and didn't have time for client based work.

Which part of the coast are you from?

I love it when domains are developed.

Hand registered PlumbingQuote.com.au

I had to smile at the prospect of its duel meaning - plumbers could provide quotes [price] and also quotes [sayings] A good flush beats a full house every time!

Just registered truelove.net.au and buybooks.net.au

Hi All

Just registered

truelove.net.au
buybooks.net.au

Before you say .net are 2nd rate, main reason is I would never have the luck/cash to get a .com like this and I want to have a go at flipping a dating domain.

I haven't had any experience with .net.au and thought I would look for a few domains to go with ideas I was interested in.

Maybe I will find true love :) but I was thinking I just lost/invested $50.

The current higher domains seem to be:

.com.au is redirect to photographers studio

.com is a just a few dating links on it (wonder if its for-sale for 30k like another site I asked about  and that was a three word domain).

.net is redirect to massive porn link site (shame (illegal?) they do not have something to stop just anyone entering the site)

should any of this worry me?

snoopy whats a pack of cigarettes now like $26 so I'm not wasting that much money to hang with you guys.

cheers
Paul

BTW I don't smoke and why does spell checker know i'm is I'm, but not i is I :(

I picked up FirstAidCoursesMelbourne.com.au on the drops today.

Had to pay a bit to get it, but it has reasonable search and CPC.

Interestingly, on GAKT the terms "first aid course" and "first aid courses" have equal exact searches - 3600.

So to average down my cost of acquisition, I had a look for similar domains, and managed to hand reg four other similar domains including:

  • firstaidcoursesperth.com.au - 720 Exacts @ $2.41
