Ah okay, now I get it.
Personally I think just having a small 'product teaser' section on a site, linked to the actual store on Amazon, is better.
From what I've found (I've dealt with Amazon a fair bit and have helped friends get started on it) most people end up clicking on, or finding out the Amazon storefront name and going to that, rather than going through the products on a website that are linked to Amazon with Amazon buttons.
I don't know the official term for it, but something, like 'Single layer comfort', where the user prefers to go straight to the source of information, i.e. going directly to an Amazon storefront to see the products on offer, rather than browsing through a site that has the products for sale linked through to the Amazon storefront.
