great posts guys! i've been wondering if i should do something with ourstyle.com.au - but it's expiring soon and looks like it doesn't get much of a good rating with the keyword tool. not that i know what I'm doing much yet!
spacey - just been learning from your three links in your signature. do you advertise those sites at all or just rely on linking and organic search engine results?
well they are all reasonably new but i have the ability to add articles of which some of i have written and some i have inserted , example i took a few from ezinearticles.com although i have also written original articles and because of that i am allowed to insert my link and if someone picks up the article my link also goes into their site ....my reward for writing the article
worgeneral a member here has a different approach that seems to work him , i am sure he would advise you if you pm'd him
Other things i do is directory submission , include the logos in my blogs , see recent question by me in the website development section here /logos/gifs
i also comment on blogs and have signature lines in other forms
I keep getting emails for paid article spinning and directory submissions but am yet to try any of it , but my knowledge would be considered tiny compared to many of the members here
i also did a squidoo page and put some links in and i have just started looking into press releases
Another style of store i am looking a is smartname/com/shops which is a free option to set up some stores , i tend to think it will be better than parking in the long term
maybe oneday amazon will have an aussie outlet but until then i don't see much value in affiliate situations in australia so i happily try the .com thing
