I just had to revert to some old text for a page and for various reasons it would have taken me along time getting it from my backups.

but I just went to way back when and selected January 2013 and cut and pasted it back, super quick and LUCKY me !

It's also interesting to use the Way Back machine to see how crappy some websites looked like 10 years ago!

I helped a friend's wife get back reams of online poetry she had written and forgot about, for several years having kids and moving here to Australia. The domain and hosting lapsed... had no backups, and realised too late. When she told me the story I said "tried wayback?" and all her creative work was there, she was so relieved.
