Wanna pawn your names ....

i saw that article very interesting, but now that we have the PPSR, security can be taken over trademarks and domain names.

As I have previously said, I think that we may see banks or other lenders (like pawn brokers) use domains as collateral for loans.

That is an interesting concept Erhan. Using domains as collateral in that way, may be difficult. How and who, values a domains worth? S&P for the domain industry? It may be welcomed, but is it likely?

I once asked the anz manager if they considered domains as collateral , the corresponding reply basically said it all..... 'do you have proof of its value' The impression was generally no we don't value domains
