Using Escrow.com For AU Sales

Yeah I have used escrow.com in the past for Australian and International websites sales X,XXX-XX,XXX range.
Yeah to be honest I usually just got the payments in USD. And then converted them with comm bank when they hit my account, just link up the account. I have not used it in like a year but.
Overall the process is safe, far more so compared to Paypal or other methods.
My biggest piece of advice is to make sure the buyer has the funds ready before starting the escrow.com process, I had issues on a website sale in the past where some one did not have the fund ready at the time of transaction and had to wait like 20 days for it to happen.

Escrow.com is generally ok but I have had some headaches where deals have taken weeks to complete. The currency conversion and fees on transfer can be a pain in the backside, on the downside.

Was it an AU? and is it public? It's always nice to see 5 figure AU domains sell.

It was a .com.au name, but unfortunately it's covered by NDA. It's the 2nd 5-fig .com.au we've sold this year, we also completed a 6-fig .com.au sale 3 months back. All private sales though, which is a shame, it would have been great to report all 3.
