I thought it was time this forum had another poll

so here it is

Do you have any typos

Yes.
No.
Worthwhile.
Not Worth It

??

I have bought a couple of typos previously - not because I saw value, but because I didn't realise they were typos - LMAO...

In my experience the typo will rank for the typo phrase or word, but not for the correctly spelt work and given that Google auto corrects a lot of the time these days it makes their value limited.

I have never managed to sell a typo - nor would I suspect their is a worthwhile market for them for anyone that values their time at more than $0 and hour.

Just my two cents - I hope my experience helps.

I am embarrassed to admit that I bought a typo on the drops ages ago.

But it was one of those names that you would really have to look long and hard at to know you made a mistake. And that's a true story. :o

i have one legal one because i kept typing it incorrectly and it occurred to me just register it in the hope others are making the same mistake

I have a couple which are dictionary words that I always have to think about before writing.

*sigh* not just a typo - a complete dyslexic moment. I don't know how I got translation and transcription mixed up - What was I thinking?

And I fell off my bike yesterday, a demo bike my husband wanted me to test, over the handle bars, arse up, flat on my stomach and face...waiting for my husband to pick that bike up off me.. Another dumb dyslexic moment .. Rather ungracious of me I must say.

I thank the Lord for spell check as my persistent mis spelling of accountant at times has occurred more times than I will admit to as well.

I am also consistently amazed at my clients, when I am visiting them, type the address of the website in the address bar in google because they did not know they could use the address bar at the top of the browser.

What an interesting world we live in!

Regarding the google method instead of address bar the people that you show how to do direct navigation normally go back to the google method as if direct navigation will break the computer !

Bike accidents hurt more the older you get !

I must also admit I had a domain once, had it all ready to go, sent a brief to my IT manager for the site, etc......

Then discovered it was a typo and I hadn't even realised. Rather embarassing! Had to chase up the domain owner of the proper domain.

That reminds me of the guy who couldn't attach a picture via email, so he took a picture of the screen, with his isheep.. oops.. iphone and sent that to me instead - for me to use on the front page of his website and then complained that the quality was poor..

I thought bike accidents hurt when you've got more weight to propel you over the handle bars when you reach that point of no return. I was so sore yesterday that I couldn't laugh.. and that made me laugh thinking about it.. go figure.. :D

Naughty Nina - NO MORE hijacking threads... sorry - But on topic - I did see Bikey.com.au and had to stop looking at it. No more ideas until I get my others up and running!!
