In all seriousness, it's impossible to say without more information. 15,000 hits in finance or insurance? Hell yes. 15,000 on celebrity gossip or some other niche with high search volumes and low payouts? Probably not.
No such thing as a stupid question
There is real debate amongst the members as to the value of .net.au
Personally I love them
Others shun them
Others say Google rates them lowly
Certainlly netfleet gives them a poor rating and they do not achieve the sale price of .com.au
However I do prefer them to convoluted, forced word combination or hyphen .com.au
I think the ABC radio and TV network has done a lot to promote them
Also the fact that one company owns nearly all the generic .com.au means that small business has reg'd the .net.au
So you often see "generic".net.au on the side of trucks etc , whereas generic.com.au are hardly ever used by small business, in my opinion
Lots of talk on this forum about .net.au's being discriminated against by Google..
See phillipisland.net.au
Ranks #4 out of possible 850k results.. BUT has been around since 1998!
Personally I think there is more work involved in getting them ranking and probably doesnt suit a minisite setup but if you build a decent site and age it then all good
