Wow! The fact that they had to take on ‘two different people’ at different times to obtain their URL; fascinating!...
The internet is becoming a crowded space globally, obtaining your desired name (incl social media handles) is becoming harder and harder to obtain!

If the first registrant had shown some patience this could have been a very different story.

The story should read "mother daughter duo foolishly wait years and pay $100K for a domain rather than having the foresight to pay $3K".
