The drop process

Hey all,

I'm new here, apologies if this has been posted before.

I'm looking at grabbing the list of AU domains being purged daily and as far as I can tell the best source is

https://www.ausregistry.com.au/tools/official-domain-name-drop

Is this the most reliable place to get the list? It is to feed into a tool to perform some basic analysis.

I'm also wondering if anyone out there has automated this and for what reason?

Personally, I use both Drop.com.au and Netfleet.com.au.

I have alerts for keywords that I'm interested in set up via Netfleet's service http://www.netfleet.com.au/alerts/

I usually go to Netfleet to check the auction and turn on the advanced setting and then sorted by exacts like this https://www.netfleet.com.au/auction/advanced/?v=&f=0&p=1&o=exact&l=1000

And then I sort it by CPC as well.

I also go to Drop.com.au https://www.drop.com.au/auction/?room=expired towards 1pm in order to see what people are bidding on. This can help you see valuable domains that you might have missed.

That would appear to be the best place because the lists are coming from the actual registry. I think ExpiredDomains.net may also offer deleting AU domain lists..

That is the official drop list. Some domainers through the list into various bits of software to get metrics and other key data which may help highlight the good domains

all above is good advice but what i have found is it can be time consuming if this is NOT your 100% income.

spending the time to setup netfleet alerts is the best first move, using MS excel is also a good move.

and the reality is............ at 1.17pm, you will still go "ohhh shit, how did i miss that "

Thanks for the replies guys, I was asking as i'm just finishing up developing a tool for dropping domains and was in search of the most reliable source to grab the dropping domains daily.

Tim, just missing the drop daily happens all too often for me! So annoying but probably good as it saves me spending all my money
