Just thought I'd give a shout out to a useful service I recently discovered, which I am calling the "Lorem Ipsum" equivalent for images!

Nice, thanks for the other suggestions. I recently came across placehold.it and hadn't seen similar services previously.

For what I am using the custom text/colour is really useful in testing/debugging stuff, whereas random photos will be great with other scenarios.
