Is the redemption Period still 30 days or less? for AU domains

We do not really have redemption periods for .au domains.
The status example you have here is supposed to be either a pendingDelete (Client Requested Delete) or a pendingDelete (Client Requested Policy Delete) you have to go to the drop lists to figure out which one is which. Hint if it has more than 3 days to go it is definitely a Policy Delete, if it has 3 or less then you can toss a coin to see which one it is. At some point either the policy or the Registry Operator must change to match one another.
To your other question about the 30 days, I assume you are referring to the 30 day window in which a domain can be renewed. That is still a thing but because of the migration registrants have been given an extra 15 days (so 45 days in total) to get their domains renewed.
