Thought this one hdtv.net.au maybe worth something have sourced some drop Television shippers working on developing using open cart

Not bad for a .net.au but wouldn't hold on to it too long the way technology moves forward and makes things obsolete.

Development definitely the best option...but you have some stiff competition in the SERPs that a exact match domain itself isn't going to outrank.

from the above stats with a .biz selling for 2k it would be reasonable to think that the .net.au version would be worth at least the same IMHO.

Thanks no one has appraised the name I am just showing what other hdtv names with different extensions have sold for, This thread domain appraisal your the first to actually give an actual figure.

I am not set on what it is worth however I do think if the same name with a .biz extension actually sold for 2k then why couldn't an .au unless a .biz is worth more then a .au which I doubt.

anyway its making me money now so I'll wait until someone can see the actual value of the name.

It cost me $16 so $100-$300 is still a nice little return I am out $130 for a phone number and address though lol

don't understand why a .biz is worth more, I do think an end user retailer would pay at least $X,xxx
Of course I don't think a domainer would pay that happy to be proven wrong though hehe.

biz = global appeal
.net.au = limited aus appeal

If an end user retailer (Tangible goods) used it, and the .com.au then becomes developed, the end user with the .net would be in a very bad position. HD TV's seem to be quite niche as well in the over all TV side of things, HD is the norm so almost obsolete in some cases. thats my opinion anyway.

I think you overcapatilized with the phone and address. That is not what investors want or need when taking over a domain.
