    Hey guys,
    i was analysing the backlinks for one of my sites and i've noticed that i have hundreds of links similar to this on loads of random blogs:

    <li class="post pingback">
    <p>Pingback: <a href='http://www.abcdefgh.com/' rel='external nofollow' class='url'>abcdef</a></p>
    </li>

    I've discovered that this is possibly due to having pingbacks enabled on my wordpress site, so i've disabled this now.
    Could this be some sort of negative SEO attack?

    Now that i've disabled it on my wordpress site, will it get removed from all these sites automatically??

    Thanks
