Thought this was interesting, I read a fair bit of email on my phone but I never open the newsletters:

THE explosion in the use of email on mobile devices such as phones rather than on computers is undermining a large percentage of email marketing campaigns, with advertisers failing to design their ads to fit the small screen.

"Sixty per cent of consumers plan to read more emails on their phone," he said. "But just three out of 10 people rated the ability to view images in emails on their phones as good.

the other problem is that due to our data cap on mobile plans, unlike in the USA where iPhones get unlimited data, here users are forced to read email as text in order to use less data.

B2B email use is bigger then ever...but yeah b2b email on smartphones some campaigns suck...worst creative...
