Penn created a holiday commercial that has been running during the ratings-winning Monday Night Football and other shows, in which Microsoft criticises Google for polluting the quality of its shopping search results with advertisements.
What a moron this guy sounds like. Microsoft is a million miles from competing with Google and instead of coming up with decent ideas and fixing their half baked sites this is what they come up with.
Tend to agree with Snoopy the legal/campaigning strategy won't save them. Microsoft need to focus on being the innovators again rather than always playing catchup.
I can't remember that last time I saw a microsoft product and went "that's a pretty cool feature/product/idea" yet most consumers say exactly this every couple of months with Google/Apple related products/services.
