Anyone contemplating getting a voice over done for a video, I can highly recommend it. We've had a lot of positive feedback from the video we recently made for SchoolBuy on the home page.

I was surprised at how cost-effective getting a voice over was. And now any time I see a web video without a professional voice over, it really stands out.

We actually wanted to get a female voice on that video, but only had males quote on the job through the site we used. It's a pity we didn't know about you then Virginia.

Thanks for the welcome, and for the insight into your experience getting a voice artist to voice your video. It does sound good! May I ask which site you used? There are a few around, Elance, Voices.com etc.

It is indeed a shame I wasn't around on here when you wanted that female voice!

I am pretty sure it was Voice123.com - it was a site that the guy who did the video used and recommended. I don't know how voice over professionals view that site, but we got 4 responses within a few days and all were very good.
