Is there any point buying/holding strong misspelt domain names? Seems Google has made it worthless?

I have acommodation.com.au, but doesn't seem to be any point in owning it now?

Only if it has type in traffic, otherwise would not be bothering.

Yeah just for the typeins - might be a few for that one? You should park it just to see although 2 c's and 1 m is the more common typo

    in 1999 ...friend of mine and I bought " ninemsm.com.au "

We put up a 1 page website with a button " contact here"....traffic was unreal and we didn't know what to do with it... every day hundreds and hundreds enquirers

    It was Fun !!!

1 month later we got a letter from the Nine MSN lawyer with a request to deregister it...we ignored.... 3 weeks after we got another letter....we gave up without a fight...

3 month after that.... we saw a Real Estate agency ! there....

Currently its empty and MelbourneIT shows that it is available for registration....PlanetDomain and ZipHosting showing - not available for reg....

We still don't know who asked us to deregister it.... NineMSN or it was "RealEstate Agency"

I never seen such traffic in my life ....it is a dream to have it....
