Australian food-delivery giant Menulog is creating websites for small restaurants and cafes by default, at times without their knowledge, and laying claim to the domain names.

Pretty dirty tactic IMO. I have seen this occur with Florists too, with the bigger flower companies setting up an ecom site for smaller businesses & claiming their GMB, this is worse than the above as the actual business does not get any $$ out of the deal. Then spamming the sites with links & directories to make them rank quickly. I wonder how AUDA would see Menulog's eligibility for other businesses domains.
