I went to the Melbourne SEO meetup last night which I have gone to since I found out about it ? 18 months ago.
they have guest speakers and then networking and brainstorming breaks but last night before the meeting even started I was chatting to the first presenter and the ideas were just pinning in my head, simple stuff that other people know and how they do things, I told him how I work and a lot of it was opposite to the way he does.
the moral is networking, going to meetings, using DNT, asking, commenting, this was the first SEO meetup for the year so it really gets me buzzing about how good going to these type events is.
this isn't a plug for SEO meetup, its just where ever you are connect with others, if its 3 web designers in a bar in dubbo GREAT, phone up your local competitor and go have a beer with them, there may be some types of work they don't like doing but you do !!! so take it of their hands.
posting is not a waste of time, its a way of gaining knowledge.
" you don't know what you don't know and if you don't know then how can you ask the right question to find out what you don't know"?
