Saw this great website yesterday called "Letters of Note", and featured it as my "Website of the Day" on Domainer. It features some letters written by some fairly famous people over the years.
The one that really appealed to me though was this one by Mick Jagger to Andy Warhol back in 1969. The Rolling Stones wanted him to design their new album cover. Have a read of the letter – it is a classic.
What tickled my fancy was trying to relate this to modern times – particularly in relation to web design! Can you imagine giving someone a simple brief like this to design a “website”? Here’s an excerpt from Mick’s letter below.
“But, having said that, I leave it in your capable hands to do what ever you want………..and please write back saying how much money you would like.”
