Instagram User Profiles

So Instagram has been listening to their customers with some things which we want in the service and they updated their user profiles to now have the following...

Via the web browser:

• New look user profile
• able to follow people
• able to comment
• able to LIKE
• able to edit your profile page.

This rollout is happening over the next week so if your profile hasnt updated, give it a few days. If you want to look, mine has been rolled over, feel free to follow if you like...

I heard about this last night but my profile hadn't been created, but now it has.

Do you think this has anything to do with Facebook's purchase of them?

Probably, and probably because of the super battle between the big SM platforms / Facebook/Instagram/Twitter - I believe twitter are furious with Facebook as they (FB) got an update also yesterday with photo filters & multi-shot sharing, something which twitter have been working on.
