Increased traffic Q China

I have noticed in the last 4 - 5 days a huge increase in traffic/pages viewed from China on one of my dot coms. According to my stats from what I see its not bot traffic (compared to previous months) but there are 2 leading fig IP's that have identical number of visits with both showing the same time for the last visit, both from China.

They have to be bots dont they? Should I block them? or has something happened in China in relation to lifting of restrictions? If they are bots, wouldnt the stats put them in Bot category along with other unknowns, google etc? Wierd....

Cheers...I just had a chance to check on the stats as I hadnt done it for a little while, seems that the number of veiws has dropped back down to 'ordinary' levels as from the last 14 days.

Was thinking Baidu, but that showed up as a bot and dont match its hits and would have assumed that hits from it would have been counted in the 'not viewed' section of stats...the increase was in 'veiwed' page hits.....or am I reading the terminology of the two variants the wrong way (human (viewed) vs bot hits (not viewed)).

Any way...seems back to normal now without any intervention on my part.

Ive seen huge spikes on websites where Chinese forums and message boards have shared my content....Chinese forums seem to pick up random old articles, it is always funny to translate it all
