To be honest some of these tactics may not work in today's market because it is not as easy to rank lower quality content pages for key terms as it was say 5 years ago.

Most of the basics but you can still implement into an SEO campaign.

To be honest I don't think I can sell this site for a while, as I use the email sever from the domain on a few different accounts still.

Its a short .com domain so I like it. Sure I could go and change like 60 accounts emails but it would be a bit of work.
