Hi, I'm researching picking up a name that will drop in a few weeks. I backordered it on netregistry a while ago, but now I have read more,am not sure anymore if that is the best way to go. Any suggestions on more certain way to grab it? thanks

If it's worth more than $200 this is the way to go:

"Back orders" at some registrars (Netregistry.com.au is a registrar) mean when it drops they will try to get it for you. However, if someone bids for it at the drop auction services of drop.com.au or netfleet.com.au, you most likely will NOT get it.

The best solution is to use Netfleets back order service (see first link).

if you really want the name, then I suggest putting the money down. Decide what you think it is worth and then put money on it.
