hey guys I bought these with the plans of making and spending some money and time on them. but just had a baby so that's went out the window for now.

www.livingdownunder.com.au

I was hoping to use this for advertising houses for sale and some info about each state for people looking at coming over.

www.workingdownunder.com.au

same as above but info and help for people trying to get jobs and visa info as well as a place for companies wanting to sponsor people they could come here for that.

www.comevisit.com.au

this was going to have a few parts too it a best price selection for car hire, one for hotels some info on travelling site seeing info and do some deals for business's like restaurants and stuff like that.

www.traveltoperth.com.au

this was the first one as I live in perth. I was hoping to do the same as above with deals for hotels car rentals places to go and everything about travelling.

www.forthebaby.com.au

was planning on making an online store for people to purchase stuff for babies or kids aswell asa forum for parents to chat and ask questions. another part for this I was planning was a kind of diary that would help and remind parents about vacinations and let them know when they were due.

www.buyitorsellit.com.au

with this I was hoping to build a page like carsales, gumtree, quoka all made into one and charge nothing to people buying or selling.

the last one I have but wont be selling is
www.laferrari.com.au
I bought this as the car its about is my favourite car and the most unique thing that Ferrari have ever done I did create a page for this but took it down recently cause I was getting lots of spam

just wondering If I can get some advice about these domains and if anyone thinks any have real value

thanks again in advance

Sorry to say but I dont think that these domains have inherent value, but they could become successful sites with some development. As for trying to compete against carsales, gumtree etc I wouldn't waste your time, they spend millions to get and keep the traffic and brand awareness they have.

I agree with coopermills, HEAPS of work in all of those domains.

congrats on the baby, but is the issue time or money ? if its time then just pick 1 that you really think you can work on, if its money from the sale of the domains then I don't think that is going to happen.

workingdownunder is catchy, there are many backpacker sites doing it all ready, professional people like doctors, engineers etc go to government sites as they need out of the norm visas and often get subsidised to come and work.

you would have to rank for a variety of search terms to get them started.

Thanks for the feedback. I really appreciate it.
i emailed ferrari about the laferrari.com.au as they own the rest of them but theyve never got back to me. Prob building a big case against me lol

Agree with the comments above hard to make value on these domains.

You are better picking one domain you really like and investing time into developing that site. I made that mistake years ago when I went out to buy everything I like but nothing gets developed in the end you need time.

I like comevisit and zombieland as they are short, although only the first (comevisit) would have real appeal but is still a little weak, i'll just say reg fee at this point, good luck

Would anyone like to have a guess at what www.laferrari.com.au would be worth just curious i dont think i would sell it. I emailed ferrari a while ago to ask permission to use some pictures and info i had gathered aswell as the youtube video aswell for the car. I had a site up for a while but never heard back from them. I had someone not too long ago offer stupid money for the site as its the last one that ferrari dont have but i told the guy it wasnt for sale

Nah i bought this as ive always loved ferraris since i was little. And i really wantad to make a good sight for people to chat about the car and read all the amazing technical info on how the engine was done. Plus the hybrid engine is the first ferrari has ever done on a car which to mewnt the domain would be very unique. Plus ferrari own the rest of the main ones like .co.uk or .com. i dont want it to go to someone that just wants to make shit load of money from it or wreck the page and just take advantage of it. The way the guy spoke was if he was my closest mate basically trying to get me to say yes to selling it to him.

well you have passion which is great, but passion doesn't buy food !

+ you should be careful about TM , they just might come bully you ?

tim

Ive already sent a few emails to them asking if it was ok to use some pics info and videos for it and they havent responded yet. I spoke to the ceo for ferrari australiasia and he said it was ok to use the information. I also said i wasnt wanting to make money off the site and there would be no advertising on it either but yeah havent heard back from hq. Which could mean they dont mind or there building a nice case to send me back to the stone age lol

zombieland would be a fun site. It could have a lot of pics and vids etc. Might get people interested?

Saying that, it still takes a lot of work to build a great site that people want to care about. So many good sites out there already to draw their attention away.

Still if you have the time and passion, it would be my pic to dev.

doh! yeah I must be a zombie. He he, anyho zombieworld sound better.

You could sell zombie costumes and makeup?

He he.

Haha. The plan with zombieworld was for me and my brother (hardcore cod zombie players) was to build a sit with tips walkthroughs maps videos and all sorts of stuff for people wanting to learn to be better at zombies aswell as the other zombie games. Plus with 50million copies and millions of kids searching for videos for the eastereggs and gameplay tips/hacks. I thought if i build it well enough and let the kids upload there videos to an account which people can share and talk about it would create a fair bit of traffic

where is the profit?

tim

With this one inwasnt too bothered about making profit i wanted to help my brother make a site as he wants to do web development when hes older so i was showing him with this one but dont have the time now. I supose you coukd have ads on it or get activision or treyarch to sponsor it or advertise when they release a new map
