Just noticed this today - not sure if it's new or old, but the google keyword tool has an option to view statistics either for 'desktop and laptop devices' or 'mobile devices' (a few options available here).
Just did a quick comparison of "deals" which shows only 880 exact searches on 'all mobile devices' and 6,600 on 'desktop and laptop devices'. I half expected higher search numbers on mobile for that keyword. "Restaurants" however outperforms on mobile with 9,900 exacts vs. 8,100 on 'desktops and laptops'.
Anyone else drawing these comparisons?
