I have this domain earmarked for an events booking / listing site (gigs etc - ala Ticketek & Eventbrite)

The domain is doing nothing parked and has low exact search (260/month) but high CPC ($10+) & phrase search of 40,000+

It appears the slant is towards the "legal" niche; but that does not gel with me

Any thoughts?

There is nobody advertising so forget about what Google displays as CPC. The name doesn't have any commercial focus, it is just one of those brandable names that could be anything but is a dime a dozen. $0.

These sorts of domains are REALLY hard to value given that there isn't an obvious end user in mind.

That said, I'm with you, when I hear "get out" I think "get out and about" so would see the site being more a lifestyle/events site.

I won't put a value on it because honestly I don't know how I'd sell it or to who and it could sell for anywhere between $0 - $1000.

I think it's just one of those domains you just have to leave on the NF Catalogue with a Make An Offer price then hope one day someone has some bright idea and is looking for a catchy name and falls in love with yours.
