Finance rate

Hey guys, just a quick question - anyone have any details on developing a finance rate website similar to creditcards.com.au, moneybuddy.com.au etc
if someone can point me in the right direction i should be able to figure out the rest

My main issue is obtaining the rates, is it a manual process or can it be automated? Any other details would be awesome

Finance rate websites are very competitive.
It's a manual process

You could automate some of it if you wanted to.. providing you have a source. You could scrape this page for instance:

http://www.canstar.com.au/interest-rate-comparison/compare-credit-card-rates.html

Or you could do lots of work and build a wrapper for every financial website and scrape the details that way.

Might be a good way to keep the rates up to date, however you'd still need to manually enter some of the information (value add).

There are established sites ie ratecity.com.au who will work with you...
