Facebook logo change - I wouldn't have noticed

Facebook has changed its logo with a change to the letter "a" and minor almost undetectable changes to the font.
I most likely would not have noticed but after it has been pointed out to me I prefer the way the old "a" sat but they must have had their reasons for changing it.

I guess Facebook wants to always be working on change and never stay the same, hence some of their acquisitions recently.
