FaceBook advantages for generating traffic

To maximize the traffic from Facebook I want to set up a second account, by going to facebook signup, but as soon as I click on the link it takes me straight to my existing account for login - reading the I.P. address is it? Does anyone know how to overcome this?

make sure you're signed out obviously.
trying using a differeent browser
as a last resort either:
1) delete your cookies
2) acxcess via another computer (or through a proxy)
