Drops Today - April 2017

Yesterday FAL.com.au dropped.
The winning bid did not display on netfleet who caught the domain, nor did it appear in my email with the other results. I've never seen this happen before.
Anyone know why that might be?

Actually, taking a closer look it seems to be a 'special order' of some kind, as Netalliance Pty Limited (which trades under the business name of Netfleet) is shown as the Registrant. I guess the $10,000 bid effectively locks it down ;)

I spoke with Netfleet about this. Apparently it was a client's domain that had expired due to some glitch in the NF renewal system. So they put a massive "house bid" on to ensure they secured it. No doubt client is happy with outcome.

Lucky for NF that no one won it on either Domain Shield or Drop!

In that case all bases should have been covered to at least place in a bid at the other platforms on behalf of this client imo..
