DomainRegistrar.com.au dropping tomorrow, currently $251 on netfleet.

Looks like a risky one to me! If you are NOT a registrar (which most of us are not), I could see it getting PD'd quick smart.

If I was AuDA and saw this, I wouldn't buy the "but i'm a reseller for company X" or "i'm creating a review site about domain registrars".

What does anyone else think?

Don't see anything wrong with the review site idea.

Also if you were a reseller looking to become a registrar it you might be eligible, no?

Yeah you'd just have to show a 'close and substantial connection' if challenged. They don't expect every registrant to actively & currently have a business matching the domain.

Eg lawyers.com.au is not owned by a bunch of lawyers

The com equiv is an ICANN accredited registrar (not that it matters):

DomainRegistrar.com

Certainly would believe: the .com.au could have several viable and logical uses other than being an accredited registrar - although, that may be the highest and best use for it.

I did a Google keyword analysis which revealed [260] exacts and $11.46 CPC. Netfleet has [260] exacts and $5.36 CPC. Did I miss something?

Webpark, the location in the tool might be throwing your figures.

Make sure Australia is set as the location.

I see $11.44 here but when I deselect Australia (so it shows "location all"), I then see $8.59 instead.

Apologies, I should say, seems the location is throwing NetFleet's figures in this case. But I find this a lot with .au domains - quotes can be better with global numbers - in this case it's the other way around.
